Tuner and looper

The tuner showing A2 in tune, 110.2 Hz, +3 cents
In tune: the note turns green, the LED ramp shows the cents.

The tuner is chromatic and goes down to 38 Hz: drop tunings, 7 and 8 strings and bass guitars work. It only listens while its page is open, so it costs nothing the rest of the time.

  • Mute while tuning silences the outputs while the page is open, including the inputs played straight on an output (see Inputs and outputs).
  • Reference sets the pitch of A4, 440 Hz by default.

Open it from the Tuner tab, by holding the tap footswitch, or with MIDI CC68.

With a rotary encoder, a press on Mute while tuning toggles it. On Reference, press, turn to change it by 1 Hz per click, then press to keep it or hold to go back.

The looper playing, 4.5 seconds into a 7 second loop, one layer
The looper, playing a 7 second loop.

The looper records what comes out of the effects, in stereo, up to 30 seconds. It plays on the main mix only, not on the sends.

Button What it does
Record Starts recording; pressing Play ends the loop and plays it
Overdub Records a new layer over the loop
Play / Stop Plays or stops the loop
Undo Removes the last layer
Clear Erases the loop

The slider sets the loop’s volume. The looper can also be driven over MIDI (CC60 to CC63, see MIDI).

With a rotary encoder, turn to go through the buttons and press to trigger one. On the volume, press, turn to change it by 5 % per click, then press to keep it or hold to go back.
